A delightful loop around the Ubaye River, close to the hamlets that stretch across the lower slopes of the former cultivated hillsides.

From Saint-Paul-sur-Ubaye, the route crosses the hamlet of Pont de l'Estrech and climbs along the Ubaye to the hamlet of Grande Serenne. It then returns to the right bank via Petite Serenne.
