Short route accessible to pedestrians and snowshoers, starting from the Col du Lautaret. The highest point offers a beautiful view of the pass and the surrounding peaks.
From the last parking lot at the Col du Lautaret in the direction of Briançon - Villar d'Arène, take the wide trail towards the Jardin du Lautaret.
Once you reach it, the trail continues for about ten meters uphill before overlooking the Jardin du Lautaret and the Atelier du Lautaret.
The return trip will follow the same route.
Due to the risk of avalanches, wearing complete safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, and shovel) is strongly recommended.
