Section of the Euro Vélo 8 (EV8) "Mediterranean by bike" itinerary, between Le Grau du Roi and Tarascon, 70km up the Rhône, not far from the Camargue Regional Nature Park.
Camargue atmosphere on this latest stage of La Méditerranée à vélo. The route follows the Canal du Rhône à Sète, then a plain criss-crossed by access roads to the "mas", dotted with ponds and irrigation canals. You'll inevitably come across tourists on bicycles in the opposite direction, finishing their journey on the ViaRhôna. At Fourques, you can take a detour to Roman Arles and its remarkable heritage. At the foot of the Costières hills, Saint-Gilles, with its medieval center, plunges travelers into another era. Beaucaire and its river port are also worth a visit, before crossing the Rhône to Tarascon-sur-Rhône, dominated by an imposing fortified castle.

Cycle paths along the RD255 between the Pont des Abîmes bridge and the entrance to the Grau du Roi urban area via the Boulevard du Dr Jean Bastide.

In built-up areas: shared route on local roads: boulevard Jean Bastide, rue Commandant Marceau to the swing bridge, then rue des alliés, rue de la victoire, rue de la Rotonde to the Grau du Roi train station, rue des Arènes, parvis de la fé di biou, quai Colbert.

Cycle paths along the sidewalks of the lift bridge (RD62B) to join the greenway that runs along the right bank of the sea channel between Le Grau du Roi and Mas du Môle (Aigues-Mortes).

Shared route along route du Môle and rue du Port to Quai des Croisades. Cross the pont rouge. Shared route on the RD979 at the foot of the ramparts. Cross the canal at Pont de Provence, then immediately right onto Avenue du Pont de Provence to join the greenway that runs alongside the Canal du Rhône à Sète towards Gallician and Tour Carbonnière. Cross the Canal du Rhône à Sète via the RD46 at Pont des Tourrades (cycle lanes). At the bottom of the bridge, access to the Tour Carbonnière on the left; on the right, access to the greenway towards Gallician along the canal. Pass near the Pont des Tourradons. Arrival at Gallician river port.

From Gallician to Beaucaire, provisional route on low-traffic roads.
