Tonight I've decided to do the loop, and in 1h30 it should be good!
At dusk, at night or at dawn, it will be more difficult for me to see the remains of the Refuge Napoléon, built like so many others in the Hautes Alpes by Napoléon III, as a posthumous way of thanking the département for the welcome given to the Emperor after his return from Elba. It was destroyed during the last world war...
I'll then head up with my friends to eat pasta on the other side of the Col, at Le Pra in the...Tonight I've decided to do the loop, and in 1h30 it should be good!

The Jervis refuge is open all year round, and the Agroturismo will welcome us as only our Italian friends can, with plenty of food, a bottle of Barbara and the moving song of Bella Ciao .
And then, when I return from my escapade, I'll go back to my favorite, friendly campsite: "Le Camp de Base de la Monta" where Didier, an atypical and generous character, will comfort me with his génépi, his southern accent and his warm little evenings where it's good to meet the locals.
