  • Route no. 42 on the "Espace VTT Grand Briançonnais" map: Les Balcons de Névache is a difficult route: 17km and 530 m of positive ascent, with some technical sections.

  • Departure from Névache ville Haute by road, cross the Clarée at the Fortville bridge.

    A path through the meadows (steep climb at the end) leads to a forest track and through the Bois Noir.

    After the Creuzet torrent, a path descends to the left near Plampinet. Take a stony path to the Armands bridge.

    Descend again along the Clarée and take the Col de l'Echelle road to the first bend, where you turn left.
