  • Discover an exceptional route that takes you in the footsteps of the ancient Roman road by tracks, through preserved landscapes. It is a long route that allows you to discover a rich historical heritage and surprising nature.

  • Departure from Château-Arnoux, tourist office. The route is shared with route no. 4 until near the ruins of the old village of Chateauneuf Val St Donat. Mainly on tracks, it will take you on the old Roman road where the superb Romanesque chapel of St Donat emerges further on. The route then continues to the village of Mallefougasse, after having walked on the foothills of the Lure mountain, passing in front of the Sainte-Madeleine chapel. The return by tracks and paths will take you back to...
