A stage with remarkable views
The first section runs quietly along the Golf of Taulane to reach La Martre and from there the Madame bridge over the Artuby river. The path twists and turns up the northern slope of the Montagne du Brouis until it reaches the ridge line at 1289m, where there is a breathtaking view of Mont Lachens. The descent reaches the Col de Clavel and then La Bastide. The stage continues to the village of La Roque-Esclapon. The hike can be done in both directions.
