Between Briançon, a town whose Vauban fortifications are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the famous Col d'Izoard, nestles a wild, secret valley, the Vallée de Cervières.
The people of Cervières were quick to protect themselves from mass tourism, and there are no ski lifts to mar the breathtaking beauty of the landscape.
Nestled in the heart of this valley is the small hamlet of Le Laus, a haven of peace where peasant life continues to be cradled by the unchanging rhythm of the seasons.
It's here, at La Loubatière, a superb 18th-century chalet converted into a warm and comfortable gîte, that we look forward to welcoming you for a stay like no other. At once sporting, contemplative and gastronomic, thanks to refined cuisine with flavours from here and abroad...
