Whether you are a history buff or simply looking to immerse yourself in nature and heritage, welcome to Sisteron Buëch, where you can discover two architectural gems: Saint-André-de-Rosans and Serres!
10:00 am: accompanied by your guide, you will explore the Priory of Saint-André-de-Rosans, a listed historic monument with magnificent mosaics that still bear witness to the region's turbulent history. It is a true gem of Provençal Romanesque art hidden away in a green setting! The tour continues with the village steeped in history, which has preserved traces of its rich past. Perched between Provence and Dauphiné, the village charms visitors with its timeless appeal, picturesque streets and unspoilt natural setting, offering a true immersion in Provençal history and tranquillity.

12.30 pm: one of the local restaurants awaits you to introduce you to the region's produce. The menu will be chosen from a list provided in advance.

2.30 pm: you head to Serres to discover this Petite Cité de Caractère® (Small Town of Character). Nestled against the Pignolette rock that dominates the village, Serres overlooks the turquoise waters of the Buëch river. Stroll through its sloping streets and explore its refreshing and picturesque alleyways to discover its history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Imagine the village built around a vanished castle, from the ramparts of the Porte Saint-Claude to those of Sainte-Catherine, passing by the Romanesque church (12th century).

4.30pm: your day in Sisteron Buëch comes to an end and the Tourist Office invites you to discover some souvenirs and local products to take away with you to prolong the pleasure.
