Departing from the tourist office in Château-Arnoux (between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.):

Day 2: Volonne – Château-Arnoux 47 km / 765m D+ / 786m D-
The Campagnard route winds through lavender and olive groves, through orchards, and through the forests and hills of the Durance Valley. It runs along the river and the lakes of the Haute Provence Ornithological Reserve, passing under the famous Pénitents des Mées, these are exceptional natural sites that offer unique and surprising observations in every season.
