7 days to discover our territory facing the Haute Montagne!
Wild and intimate escapes punctuate this snowshoeing holiday, which is designed to be contemplative, fun and sporty in a unique setting, allowing you to discover the Pays de la Meije.
This new sporting adventure is for you. Your routes will be supervised by our local mountain guides. At the hotel, you'll be pampered and looked after by our team around Sabrina and David.

The Grand Briançonnais region on the edge of the Hautes Alpes is an unspoilt area, dedicated to freedom in a still wild environment. We invite you to discover its natural and human riches, its larch forests, its glacial beauty, its omnipresent fauna (chamois, roe deer and ibex) and its history.

►Day 1 - Welcome and installation
On arrival at the hotel, you'll take time to settle in and get to know the team. Afterwards, an aperitif will be served in the presence of your tour leader, where you'll receive advice and a friendly introduction to your stay. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy a meal served in our restaurant from 7.30pm.
A briefing with your mountain leader is scheduled for 6.15pm.

►Day 2: Vallon du Fontenil 2210 m - Sur Les Traces du Chamois
Before setting off on your hike, our mountain leader will provide you with the equipment: TSL-type plate snowshoes and hiking poles as well as a DVA, probe and shovel.
We'll start with a gentle warm-up climb in the heart of the Ecrins National Park, in a wild valley renowned for its emblematic chamois. Our route takes us through a beautiful larch forest to a small knoll facing the rocky cirque of Combeynot.
This fun-filled day will be an opportunity to familiarize ourselves with the equipment we'll be using to progress, including technical snowshoes and poles, as well as personal safety equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel).
Elevation gain: 600m.

►Day 3: Plateau d'Emparis - Le Petit Têt 2535 m
This route will take us to a mythical viewpoint on the listed Plateau d'Emparis!
We start at Le Chazelet, a picturesque hamlet of La Grave clinging to the mountain. After a short descent to the Pont du Gâ 1735 m, the first part of this beautiful outing will warm your thighs! Yes, you'll have to gain altitude to reach the Plateau. This is followed by a southerly route on a balcony facing the glaciers of La Meije. This whole area, with the Aiguilles d'Arves, Pic de la Buffe d'en Haut, Aiguilles de la Saussaz and du Goléon, is a real eye-catcher to the north, while to the south we'll be taking in the many peaks of the Ecrins and Grandes Rousses, all dressed in white.
Elevation gain: 840m.

►Day 4: La Roche Chevalier 2312 m - Au Royaume des bouquetins
Another exotic day to discover the Cerces massif "the Little Dolomites". This day, slightly off the beaten track of La Meije country, will enable you to discover a massif with stunning rock lines and colors, but above all the master of the place, the Ibex. From Les Conchiers 1547m, our south-facing route takes us to this viewpoint of the Ecrins. We may come across the ibex and mouflons that live here.
Elevation gain: 780m.

►Day 5: Balcon de la Meije - Traversée du Signal de La Grave 2446 m
An alpine atmosphere for this more "technical" day. Our day will take place due south and facing the Reine Meije and its glaciers. Our starting point is the Passage des Portes at 1830 m, which takes us to the Col des Plagnes at 2106 m through the secret state forest of La Grave. From here, we'll move onto the long Cote Rouge ridge. The atmosphere here is exceptional, with slopes on all sides. From here, the slope rises again to reach the Signal de La Grave. The descent is on the adret to the hamlets of Valfroide and Les Hières. To complete this "Traversée", we will have left a vehicle at our arrival point.
Elevation gain: 730m.

►Day 6: Col du Pic Blanc 2850 m - 360° objective
This final day will be dedicated to evolving on a great classic in ski touring with a 360° panoramic view from Monte Viso 3841m to the highest point of the Ecrins massif: the Barre de Ecrins 4103m, from the Mont Blanc massif 4808 m to the Meije 3983m. Starting slightly below the Col du Lautaret 1950m, we'll reach the highest point of the trip. We'll be moving through a small valley where we may come across ibex and large birds of prey. A wonderful discovery on the edge of the Cerces massif below the famous Col du Galibier...
Elevation gain: 900m.
On our return, we'll have a little debriefing over a drink.

►Day 7: The end of your trip
After a sporty week rich in emotions, it will already be time to say goodbye after breakfast.
The little extras on a hike: your guide will provide a hot drink at lunchtime (organic coffee, tea or herbal tea) and a homemade digestif.
