The Route: 210 km – 3650 D+
Day 1: Château-Arnoux => Verdaches
Distance: 108km
Positive elevation: 2180 m
Vertical drop: 1480 m
This is a playful, very winding stage, you will appreciate the calm of the Geopark's little-used roads and the beauty of its passes. You will cross exceptional landscapes, with breathtaking views of Lake Serre-Ponçon and the great forests of the Blanche Valley.
Day 2: Verdaches => Château-Arnoux
Distance: 102km
Positive elevation: 1460 m
Vertical drop: 2150 m
This second stage will allow you to warm up with an easy start in the heart of the Haute-Provence Geopark with the crossing, by small roads and sumptuous gorges, of the Clues de Barles. Then the rest of your stage will challenge you to climb two passes successively in the heart of wild and preserved nature.
