4 days of snowy magic, to the murmur of the sleeping river, to breathe in and experience winter nature with all our senses. And put our perceptions and sensations down on paper! A stay combining hiking and a writing workshop with Geneviève.
Depending on our pace of travel, the altitude difference during our stay may be up to 300m ±.
*Each day will be punctuated by writing games and local stories, played outdoors on our walks
weather permitting, and/or at the gîte on our return.
* In the evenings, after meals, we'll share readings, tales and/or stories of the day

Welcome to Plampinet (1483m) at the gîte "Les chambres d'Anavo" and presentation of the trip at 6:30pm, before dinner.

Visit the village and its rural and religious heritage, then climb to Névache (1595m), through the Arras forest and its estate.
Arras forest and estate. Return to the gîte via the "old road" snowshoe trail.
>> Day 3: Col de l'Echelle (250m or 300m +/-)
Short transfer by vehicle to the entrance of the village of Névache. Cross over to the Col de l'Echelle, through the vast
of its plateau, to the panoramic point overlooking Italy (1779m).
>> Day 4: Meet the Haute Vallée (260m to 300m +/-)
Transfer by vehicle to Ville Haute (1595m). Drive through and visit the village, then a bucolic climb
Haute Vallée to Fontcouverte (1860m), between glacial lock and river banks.
>> Day 5: Les Hauts de Névache via the Thures balcony OR Les Clots/Tarroche (approx. 200m to
260m+/-)
In the hushed softness of the mountain forest, we meet the majestic conifers and their dormant world.
