Family Multi-Activity Stay Program :

Monday: Hiking in the Haute Vallée de la Clarée

To kick off your stay, we propose a hike to get to know us better. Discover the lakes of the Haute Vallée de la Clarée. We cover several themes: orientation, fauna, flora, the glaciers of the Hautes-Alpes and history, with the Vauban Forts. You'll enjoy the Espace Détente to relax and unwind on your return from this hike.
Picnic lunch
4 to 6 hours walking, 500 to 800 m ascent.

Tuesday: Climbing and optional rafting

In the morning, during the climbing activity, you learn or review rope handling. Your guide will help you individually according to your level.
Lunch at the Echaillon restaurant
In the afternoon, we suggest a refreshing 2-hour rafting trip on the Durance (optional activity).

Wednesday: Mountain biking along the Clarée

It's off for a day of downhill mountain biking (with a few false flats and small climbs!) along the Clarée to Briançon, where we visit the old town, its gargoyle and its forts. Several stops give the more experienced riders a chance to try their hand at “bumps and dips”.
Picnic lunch.
The Espace Détente is still eagerly awaited after this day of cycling.

Thursday: Summer Biathlon and overnight at Refuge du Chardonnet

At Névache, we have ski instructors who are passionate about biathlon, and they'll help you discover this activity in summer! Without skis and on grass. You're guaranteed to have fun on the shooting range, just like the champions.
Picnic lunch in the valley
, then pick up your rucksack at the hotel and head up to the Chardonnet refuge in a magnificent cirque in the middle of the mountain pastures.

Friday: Hiking and end of stay

After an early wake-up call, we head higher up for a close-up view of the glaciers and a chance to spot some chamois.
Picnic lunch.
We return to Névache in the afternoon.
The stay ends around 4pm.


Details of the Family Multi-Activity Stay :

5 nights full board from Sunday to Friday: 4 nights at Chalet d'en Hô + 1 night (Thursday evening) at Refuge du Chardonnet
5 days of sporting activities supervised by state-qualified instructors
equipment
transfers in addition to private cars
Access to the Espace Détente every afternoon from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Level

You need to be in good physical shape and, above all, highly motivated for all the activities, which will be adapted to your level for hiking and climbing.

For mountain biking, you must already have done some, or at least know how to ride a bike. For rafting, you need to be able to swim at least 25m and be able to immerse yourself.
