The Association pour la Promotion du Citron de Menton is an association law 1901 which aims, on the one hand to promote the emergence and development of the citrus sector, and on the other hand, to undertake all the actions necessary for the promotion of Citron de Menton.

Created in 2004, it follows the strong will of elected officials to defend the identity agriculture of the Mentonnais basin, in particular that of lemon, of which only a few local producers remained.
Since 2007, it has initiated the steps, in collaboration with INAO, which enabled the Protected Geographical Indication label to be obtained in October 2015.
Since then, the APCM has been recognized as a Defense and Management Organization by the INAO and it now ensures the development of the IGP Citron de Menton branch.

The APCM is present in the chalet of Biovès Gardens in Menton during the "Lemon Festival".
