The wine cellar
A historic site adapted as a wine-cellar to introduce and taste wines.
Here you will taste Châteauneuf du Pape wines in an extraordinary setting: centuries-old, natural cellars that were dug out of the rock. The excavation has formed a series of five entirely vaulted rooms covering over 200m2. The last room contains two 30-hectolitre vats of Gallo-Roman origin. The cellar is entirely made of limestone and enjoys the ideal natural conditions for preserving wine: a constant temperature and natural ventilation to regulate the level of humidity.
Individual wine tastings
The cellar has over 150 white and red Châteauneuf and Côtes du Rhône wines for sale. Every day, we select 3 or 4 wines for our visitors to taste. The wines are presented chronologically and according to quality by our sommelier.
Free individual tastings during the cellar opening hours.
Wines purchased here can be shipped or taken away directly. The cellar has a pick-up area that is accessible by car for larger orders.
