One part of the Château Barbanau is classified for the Cassis appellation and the other, Côtes de Provence. This estate is one of the greatest revelations of recent years.

The blood of Emile Bodin - one of the most famous Cassis winemakers - runs through the veins of Sophie Simonini Cerciello. Talent must be written into their DNA!
Sophie took over the vineyard from her grandfather in 1989, and today, the estate produces some of the most remarkable wines of the region. She has been working in partnership for many years now with her oenologist husband.
The vineyard has been classified organic since 2008.
