Château Barbebelle

Land once cultivated by the Romans, a charming centuries-old country house, a beautiful wooded park dotted with fountains, and a traditional tasting cellar: welcome to Chârtau Barbebelle. Located between Aix-en-Provence and the Luberon, Madeleine and Valentin Premmereur work side by side, supported by a wonderful team, to produce wines entirely on their own. The 50 hectares of vineyards in the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation are situated at an altitude of 400 meters in the heart of a magnificent 300-hectare natural setting. The entire estate is certified organic. Production has been managed by the same family for four generations—from the vineyards to the cellars, bottling, and marketing—which makes this estate truly authentic. Château Barbebelle is also a charming place to stay: concerts in the park, an organic vegetable garden, a pétanque court, and, above all, lovely renovated cottages facing the vineyards are available for rent by the weekend or week. Since 2025, Château Barbebelle has also been hosting weddings and private events in the heart of the estate, overlooking the vineyards and lavender fields!
