In the Provencal countryside, surrounded by forests, Château de l' Escarelle is a very surprising place, with 100 ha of organic farming Vines, its butterfly garden, and its valley that climbs into a mountain 800 meters high.
Nestled in the heart of Provence, Château l'Escarelle unfurls its 100 hectares of certified organic vines in a natural setting of over 1000 hectares, preserved with passion.

An exceptional place where nature, innovation and know-how combine to produce elegant, balanced wines that regularly win awards.

A true pioneer in eco-responsibility, the estate places environmental protection at the heart of everything it does:
- High Environmental Value (HVE) and Organic Farming label
- More than 15 years' involvement with the LPO in butterfly conservation, whose population has increased by 150%.
- Equipped with over 600 m² of solar panels for sustainable energy.

These commitments reflect the same philosophy: to make Château l'Escarelle a true haven of nature and elegance, where every gesture aims to preserve and sublimate a historical, cultural and natural heritage dating back more than three centuries.

Faithful to its heritage, Château l'Escarelle continues to unite tradition, innovation and respect for the living, to offer wines that reflect its terroir: authentic, refined and profoundly Provençal.

Domaine de l'Escarelle spreads out its 100 ha of bilogically farmed vines in the commune of La Celle, within the protected perimeter of the Sainte-Baume Regional Nature Park. Our high-performance equipment and winemaking techniques illustrate our determined choices to respect and protect the environment. In addition to producing organic wines, notably a range of elegant rosés (AOP, coteaux varois en Provence), owner Yann Pineau is behind other environmental projects. For him, "it's urgent to act to defend our planet". The result is the Jardin à Papillons (Butterfly Garden), 2,300 m² in size, designed to raise awareness and preserve the diversity and fragility of the region's species. A true sanctuary of biodiversity to discover.
