Château de Pourcieux is a 30-hectare family estate in the commune of Pourcieux in the Var department of France. It has belonged to the d'Espagnet family since its origins in 1760.
Today, the 7th and 8th generations of winegrowers, represented by Michel and his children Alix and Remi, share the task.
The vineyards flourish in the excellent terroir of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, which gives the wines their structure, aromatic finesse and freshness.
The estate's vineyards are planted exclusively with high quality varieties adapted to the Provencal climate: Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle.
This family of winegrowers, concerned with preserving the land of their ancestors, has a long tradition of virtuous practices (composting, grassing, organic fertilizers, respectful and reasoned working of the soil, etc.), and the estate's recent organic certification crowns years of efforts in favor of the environment and biodiversity.
