Marcel Ott bought the estate in 1912. Convinced that Provence wines had a great potential, he started to elaborate wines.

Château de Selle Domaine is located in Taradeau, perched on the rocky heights of the Côtes de Provence, its vineyards form a backdrop of greenery to the ancient fief of the Counts of Provence...At Château de Selle, production is constant, respectful of the environment and well-balanced. Vintages are made from an accomplished blend of several grape varieties with which half of the estate's 140 hectares are planted: Cabernet Sauvignon lends the wines a complexity, elegance and magnificent strength, Grenache gives them a full-bodied texture, Cinsault adds a delicately rounded touch, while Syrah gives the blends their rich colour.
