Château du Mourre du Tendre is a family estate in a unique region at the heart of Provence.
The property is built on a “Mourre”, which in Provençal means “small hill”, while "tendre" recalls the famous “Map of Tendre". So this is "the hill of love".
Three types of wine are produced on the estate:
Châteauneuf du Pape
Côtes du Rhône Villages
Côtes du Rhône
Wine growing is traditional and responsible, with a continual aim for equilibrium, respect for the vine and the environment.
No insecticides have been used here since the estate was taken over by Jacques Paumel.
