Château Pigoudet is located in the commune of Rians, in the extreme north-east of the Coteaux d'Aix en Provence appellation, at an altitude of 400m. The Pigoudet estate was the summer residence of the Archbishop of Aix.
The total surface area of Château Pigoudet is 110 ha, including 40 ha of vineyards. The clay-limestone soils are planted with grape varieties exclusively destined for the AOC. For rosé and red wines, these include Grenache, Cinsault, Carbernet Sauvignon and Syrah. For white wines, sauvignon blanc, grenache blanc and rolle.
