The vineyard is at an altitude of nearly 350 m and benefits from cool nights that are conducive to a slow ripening of the grapes. Worked organically, the main grape varieties are grenache and syrah. Picnic and/or wine and cheese pairing by appointment.
James and Joanna King, Scots by descent, have lived at Château Unang since 2003.
For the sake of quality, they pick all the grapes by hand and make their own wine, which has been certified organic for several years.
Chateau Unang also suggests wine tourism activities, upon reservation, such as a winegrower's picnic, a tour of the winery and a wine tasting workshop.
