Clos Verquière

Today, the estate is run by Thibaut Chamfort, who ensures the continuity and development of the family business while respecting its traditions. With a wealth of experience behind him, Thibaut is determined to make the most of his heritage in a spirit of continuous improvement in the quality of his wines, and to make Domaine de Verquière wines one of the benchmarks in the Rhône Valley.
Passionate and committed, Thibaut has converted his vineyard to organic farming. Organic wines certified FR BIO 10.
The soils are worked in depth to encourage the expression of the terroir, to decompact and encourage microbial life and, by the same token, the expression of the terroir. The result of this special attention to the vines is low yields, below the regulatory yields for each appellation. Thanks to a spacious cellar and a traditional fermenting room, Thibaut explores the potential of each plot and grape variety.
