Domaine de l’Aurore extends over 20 hectares to the north of Jonquières, a village located 25 km north of Avignon and 10 km east of Orange.
The parcels of land are shared over an area of 3 kilometres around the property, and consist of clay and limestone soils.
The vines and the wine have been part of the family tradition for nearly 100 years, but the estate’s cellars were built only in 1999.
Olivier, the eldest son, wanted to create a separate entity, to make wines corresponding to his perception of the work, by combining what nature provides each year with the best that people can get out of it, while taking into account local climate conditions.
