The story begins in 1960 with the acquisition of the property by our great-grandfather Raymond Michel in the commune of Visan. The vineyard, planted with rolled pebbles, is exposed on the southern slopes of the commune, an ideal geographical location for the expression of the different grape varieties. Over the generations, the vineyard has continued to prosper and modernize. In 2004, our parents Laurent and Nathalie embarked on a new adventure, setting up their own winery to market their own wines. Domaine de Lucena was born. Since then, we've joined our parents on the estate and continue to work as our parents and grandparents taught us, in harmony with nature: Culture raisonnée. We work on 32 ha of vines, and produce AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages VISAN white, rosé and red wines.
