Domaine de Méjanes, D37, 13200 Arles
On the edge of the Etang du Vaccarès nature reserve, Domaine de Méjanes offers a privileged approach to the Camargue and its traditions, while respecting the environment.
On the banks of the Vaccarès, the Guillot family opens the doors of its Manade. Authentic and secretive, this land between the Rhône and the Mediterranean is unique in its flora and fauna, with wetlands providing an exceptional natural home for a multitude of animal and plant species.

The 600-hectare Domaine de Méjanes is the perfect place to discover the best the Camargue has to offer, and to enjoy a full range of activities to suit all tastes. Our team awaits you every day from Easter to November 11th for rides on horseback, pony, Little Train, or simply on foot along the path or by bike around the Domaine. On fixed dates, our gardians will be delighted to welcome you for bullfighting events designed to teach you about their profession and passion. Ideal for individuals and groups

  • Ils s'engagent
Immersed in the wild lands of the Camargue, Domaine de Méjanes owes its legendary aura and success to the passion of the famous entrepreneur Paul Ricard. Today, Michèle Ricard is still carrying on her father's work: the large farm, where rice cultivation began, thrives on 600 hectares, the gardians continue to perpetuate the traditional breeding of bulls and horses, and the outdoor tourist activities are expanding all the time.
The estate boasts the world's largest private bullring for bullfighting events, 2 restaurants serving local cuisine, a picturesque little train that runs alongside the Vaccarès nature reserve and, since 2021, a "Paul Ricard" museum. A wide range of tours are also available on foot, by bike and, of course, on horseback!
