Sheltered by the Bessillon massif, installed on hillsides at an altitude of 340 to 375 meters, the vineyard (21 hectares), facing south, takes advantage of the sunshine as well as the cool nights at the end of the ripening cycle.
The walls are several hundred years old, the vines are old and the same family has been the owner for three centuries. In Pontevès, in the north of the Coteaux Varois appellation in Provence, Guillaume and Armelle de Jerphanion's estate writes another page in its already long, long history with each new vintage.
