Tucked away in the bucolic heart of the Provençal region, with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the Golfe de Saint-Tropez, the Beaucas family estate conveys the wisdom of age-old, sustainable vine production.
A FAMILY MATTER
The property was purchased by Patrick and Encarnacion in 2001. The self-taught Roynette couple, along with their two kids, Guillaume and Thibaut, gave their all to their job. For them, harvesting wine is a passion rather than just a job.
CLASSICAL REGARDENING THAT CONSIDERATES THE ENVIRONMENT
The Beaucas estate enjoys remarkable climate conditions due to its location on the slopes of a terroir composed of sand, clay, and schist.
Because of the water's close proximity, the sea breeze keeps summer heatstroke and bitterly cold winters at bay. The sun is king.
The only grapes grown in the vineyards are Rolle and Sémillon for the white wines, and Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvèdre for the rosés and reds. A.O.P. Côtes de Provence is the classification given to the total production.
"...VITICULTURE IS FOR THEM MUCH MORE THAN A PROFESSION BUT A PASSION."
Hand harvesting is carried out, carefully choosing each bunch. Under the knowledgeable supervision of an oenologist, the cellar is outfitted to maximize the finest winemaking methods (grape cooling, pneumatic press, thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, etc.).
