Domaine des Pentelines makes organic, AOC Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhônes Village Gadagne white wines, red wines and rosés.
Domaine des Pentelines means 26 hectares of vineyards in one single stretch of land. Mr. Bertrand Hardy is the vinegrower, winemaker, owner and producer.
The estate is located in the southern part of the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation, east of Avignon near Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
The vines grow on the gently-sloping hillside, origin of the estate's name. The soils are covered with pebbles, and the vines are swept by the Mistral wind.
Different grape varieties are grown, primarily Grenache, followed by Syrah, Mourvèdre and then Carignan. These four grape varieties give rise to harmonious wines with good character, lovely colour and delicate flavours and scents.
