Domaine du Galet des Papes is a family estate. The Mayard family, natives of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, has worked on the estate since the time of Napoleon III, and is today represented by Jean-Luc Mayard (5th generation) and his daughter, Blandine Mayard.
Today, Jean Luc Mayard and his daughter, Blandine Mayard, work on 13 hectares of vineyards spread across different districts and soils in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. They make white and red AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape and red Côtes du Rhône wines.
For visitors, Blandine has developed convivial winemakers’ aperitifs in the estate’s wine cellars.
The estate (15 Route de Bédarrides) is mainly a place of work, but also welcomes visitors and customers.
The Cellier du Galet des Papes (Avenue Baron Leroy), the estate’s 2nd outlet, offers all the vintages for tastings and for wine purchases.
