On the outskirts of Aix and Marseille, at the foot of the Nerthe mountain range, Domaine du Mas Bleu - Val des Vignes lies between the Etang de Berre and the Mediterranean Sea, benefiting from an exceptional microclimate.
Growing vines and olives has been the region's main agricultural activity for thousands of years. For 5 generations, we've been cultivating 30 hectares of vines and 4 hectares of olive trees on our family estate, all planted on these 2 territories. Our wines have won numerous awards in regional and national competitions. They are also regularly cited in famous wine guides: Guide Hachette, Fleurus... Mas Bleu also produces marc brandy distilled on the estate in a copper almabic dating from the early 20th century. Finally, the Val des Vignes olive oil adds a gastronomic touch to our highly diversified production.
In 2012, Mas Bleu is expanding its wine tourism activities, with the opening of chambres d'hôtes (bed and breakfast) in Velaux, near the Aqueduc de Roquefavour: Le Val des Vignes in Velaux, an integral part of Mas Bleu, offers a natural green setting: Provençal garrigue, cicadas, a large vineyard and calm surroundings. It's an ideal place for country lovers, B&B enthusiasts and wine and olive oil lovers alike. Le Val des Vignes also offers walking trails between vineyards and olive groves. Here you can discover nature and flora in its purest form, with the scents of thyme and rosemary enchanting the senses.
