Domaine François Xavier Lambert is located in the heart of the Dentelles de Montmirail, where vine-growing has been handed down from generation to generation with the same ideal of quality and authenticity.
"In the 1950s, François Xavier Lambert, with the help of his wife Elisabeth, created his own estate in Gigondas at Les Carbonnieres and Paillerouda.
The estate produced wine and olive oil. The winter frosts of 1956 destroyed almost all the olive trees, and François Xavier Lambert turned his attention to wine production in the commune of Gigondas.
In 1971, Gigondas was recognized as a Grand Cru of the Côtes du Rhône.
But the origins of the vineyard date back to 1556, when the vines of the Princes of Orange were located there.
Jean-François Gras, his great-grandson (who represents the 4th generation of winegrowers), has crafted and selected great wines for you, with the same rigor and nobility that characterize the Côtes du Rhône, in pure respect for the terroir.
"Respect, tradition and quality are the values that we uphold... and that make our wines great".
In addition to our flagship Gigondas appellation, we offer many other appellations from the southern and northern Rhône valleys. To do this, we work with winegrowers who have no commercial structure or who come from cooperative wineries. The common thread running through all our cuvées is a focus on quality, fruit and silky tannins.
Cellar visit on reservation - Free of charge.
