At La ferme des moulins, you'll discover what goes on behind the scenes of cheese-making and the intimacy of our goat friends.... And you can buy our delicious cheeses! And what's more, it's organic!

The work on the farm is now divided between 4 people. The installation of several people offered the possibility to diversify the activities of the farm, the desire being to allow this place, in addition to being a space of food production, to be also a place of education and reception. Rich of years of experience in environmental education, many workshops and animations are set up by these new farmers. The goal is to make people discover the life of the animals, the practices of the farm, but also the mountain environment in which it is inserted.
The farm is part of a process with peasant values.

They have set up their goat farm at Les Moulins d'Arvieux, between the Izoard road and the river torrent. In the heart of the Queyras, this idyllic mountain setting is for them a precious asset that they carefully preserve for the well-being of their 60 Alpine goats.
The herd feeds on fresh grass from the pastures in summer, and on hay mown around the farm in winter. While these committed goatherds give priority to feeding their animals, they also use phytotherapy and other alternative methods to care for them.
Everything is in place to guarantee the health of the goats, and therefore the taste and quality of their cheeses. Direct sale from the farm.
