An integral part of the Vaucluse agricultural landscape for over a century, asparagus is the first delicacy of spring. For La Grande Bastide, which specializes in growing this vegetable, it marks the start of the season. From March to June, the farm opens its doors on a daily basis, but also sells all its pretty bundles at nearby markets. Green or white? Here, it's just the way you like it...
Situated in the fertile Durance valley at the gateway to the Luberon, the farm's organic apple, pear and quince orchards are another highlight.
