Guy Mombel, saffron producer and ceramist in Esparron-de-Verdon, has been awarded the Parc label for the quality of his saffron and his commitment to promoting the Verdon region.

Safranier is quite a job! Guy Mombel knows all the ins and outs, and masters them with talent. During the flowering season, the scenery is spectacular, but the work is intense. Did you know that it takes almost 200 flowers to obtain 1g of dry saffron? And it's all done by hand!
