A lifelong hobbyist, Christian Grimaud became an experienced beekeeper on the threshold of a 2nd life. Born in the Haut-Alpes, he chose to develop this activity in Embrun, in the southern part of the Ecrins National Park. The beehives set up on these sun-drenched plots of land are the source of his delicious "Miel de printemps de l'Embrunais" (Embrun spring honey), which is sold ready-made at the Savines-le-Lac market.
A fervent defender of local products, he also limits the transhumance of his bees to a few sites in the department, notably the Queyras. At these altitudes, his workers can gather all the flora in the mountains. The mountain honey he produces in Ceillac is sold locally. Always faithful to the shortest route!
