Maison Teisseire was founded in Provence, in Solliès-Pont, in 1830, when Victor Teisseire, a pastry chef by trade, discovered nougat and began making it for the holiday season, as it is an integral part of the thirteen Provençal desserts. Today, Maison Teisseire continues this heritage by offering a welcoming experience centered around the specialties of Provençal culture. Visitors can discover chocolates, nougats, ice creams, cakes, and many other gourmet creations that celebrate the expertise of yesteryear. Continuing this family tradition, Patrice Tesseire now welcomes visitors and keeps this historical heritage alive. The workshop and shop reflect an undiminished passion for fine products, taste, and tradition. Each creation is made with the utmost care, prioritizing quality and respect for tradition.
