In the heart of the Alpes de Haute-Provence, the Miellerie Chailan, which houses 800 beehives, is the perfect place to learn all about honey. In August, you can observe the extraction and filtering of honey, carried out according to traditional methods. Some honeys, which tend to crystallize, are pasteurized to preserve their liquid form.
