Mountain and high-mountain honeys are harvested in Champsaur and Haut Champsaur. They are potted in the bioclimatic honey house. By transhumancing their hives through different areas of wild and cultivated flowers, Geoffrey and Patrick Challet obtain from their bees honeys from rhododendron (a rare honey), chestnut, lavender, garrigue, dandelion, forest, bramble, acacia and the Southern Alps.
For sale at markets in Pont du Fossé, Ancelle, Chabottes (summer), farmers' markets and on site every day except public holidays (please call ahead).

Patrick, Christine and Geofroy have set up their beekeeping business in Pont-du-Fossé, at the gateway to the Écrins National Park. Situated between Provence and the Alps, they enjoy a southern exposure to nature and an exceptional ecosystem (180 species of flowers have been recorded here!). In keeping with their values, the bioclimatic architecture of the Challet honey factory blends perfectly into the Champsaur mountain bocage. The label and diversity of their products also testify to their commitment and the care they take with their hives.
