Based in Bormes-les-Mimosas since it was founded in 1981, the Pépinières Cavatore, nursery works to introduce and acclimatise new species that are as curious as they are surprising, through the great botanical diversity represented by the genus Acacia (the botanical name of the mimosa). Their "collection" mimosas are produced from grafts, seedlings and marcots. Pépinières Cavatore has become the French benchmark for the production and sale of mimosa, with over 200 different species and varieties. In 2012, the family adventure continued with Julien specialising in rare plants and low-maintenance plants for Mediterranean-style climates, notably from Australia, South Africa and the Americas.
Cavatore Nurseries is housed in a 1,000 m2 greenhouse, with an arboretum of mimosa trees and a display garden where you can admire the full-scale diversity of mimosa and Mediterranean plants. Passionate and proud of its expertise, the Cavatore Nurseries team is on hand to advise you on the right choice for your garden or exterior.
