Bernard Thoron is a goat and cheese farmer in Saint-Julien-les-Martigues in pastoralism. The farmhouse of the Croix d'Estrine welcomes animals in freedom in which the owners live in self-sufficiency. Organic market gardening in permaculture.
Cheeses, Brousse du Rove and milk sweets: Yoghurts, egg creams, organic goat meat reared under the mother, goat terrines and rillettes, fruits and vegetables, jams, honey, jelly, quince paste, marmalade...
The products are sold on the Saint-Julien-les-Martigues market (every Saturday morning) and on the local producers' market on Tuesdays (4-7pm) from April to October.
- Brousse du Rove PDO: 6 € for 4.
- Farmhouse goat cheese made from raw milk (téton de mémé, pyramide cendrée, grand coeur, buchette): small 3.5 €, large 5 €, platter of 3 small matured cheeses 10 €.
- Terrine or rillette of goat cheese: 7 €.
- Yoghurt with milk 1 € / Yoghurt with milk on a bed of fruit 1,10 € (blueberry-blackberry / strawberry-pomegranate / elderflower).
- Faisselle with raw milk: 5 €.
- Baked egg cream: 5 € for 2.
- Vegetables: 3.5 € per kg.
