Located in the commune of Entrepierres, in the Alpes de Haute Provence, the Ferme d'Urtis produces beef, eggs, fruit and vegetables in organic farming as well as honey.
and vegetables as well as honey.
On the bee side: with our two apiaries, located on the farm and on the Puimoisson plateau, we produce mountain honey, lavender honey and, depending on the year, honey from the
lavandin honey, and depending on the year and the honey flow, rosemary, thyme or acacia honey.
Cows: we mainly raise Galloways, organically. These Scottish cows are hardy and adapted to our sometimes harsh climates. This allows us to graze them all year round. The cows and steers are taken to the abattoir in Digne-les-Bains, the nearest AB-certified abattoir. The meat is sold in boxes of 8 to 10 kg of various pieces.
As for the garden, we offer a variety of organically grown fruit and vegetables.
To complete the picture, we also offer eggs from our small organic layer hen farm.
Our products are sold directly on the farm (by appointment), on the market of Mézien (Entrepierres) on Sunday mornings during the summer season and all year round on the market of Saint-Geniez from 5pm to 6pm in winter and 5.30pm to 7pm in summer.
