Skiing and other winter sports in Gréolières les Neiges
The ski area of Gréolières les Neiges is located on the north face of the Cheiron massif. When you reach the summit, you will get a 360° breathtaking view of the entire French Riviera, from the Esterel Mountains to Southern Italy and even Corsica on a clear day. Beginners and experienced skiers can practice on the 30 kilometers of green, blue, red and black slopes that are accessible by ski lifts (chairlifts). There are several snow cannons in the ski resort to ensure the best sliding conditions all through the winter season. If you are a beginner and want to learn how to ski, you can take lessons at the ESF of Gréolières les Neiges (French Ski School).
You can also go ski touring or snowshoeing through the area. The ski resort has a vast Nordic center which is the most visited in the South East region and has the longest slopes between 1,400 meters and 1,540 meters of altitude in the coniferous forest. On your way, stop at the Belvedere, the highest point of the Brasque, to admire the panorama of the Mercantour and the Southern Alps.
