Description
The Geological Reserve's most famous site. The slab has over 1550 ammonites spread out over 320m². These ammonites are quite big: the largest have a 70 cm diameter!
Their scientific name is Coroniceras multicostatum. Their presence allowed paleontologists to date the slab as being around 200 million years old (Early Jurassic period).
