A remarkable rural heritage
In the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, each valley has a story to tell. Several museums deal with unusual themes that tell us about the traditions of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Where would you like to go? You can visit the Chestnut Museum in Braux, the Baden-Powell Scout Museum in Sisteron, the Alexandra David-Néel Museum in Digne-les-Bains, the ecomuseum of the School of Seyne-les-Alpes…
The Luberon Regional Nature Park
The Luberon Regional Nature Park owes its popularity to its remarkable natural areas. Between vineyards, meadows and forests, valleys, hills and mountains, you will be able to discover a variety of landscapes. Walking through the Park, you can admire more than 270 different species of vertebrates. You will be able to observe rare birds of prey, or small birds such as the elegant goldfinch or the oak jay. The Luberon can also be explored on a bike. From Montjustin, you can set off on the roads and paths of the Park, to meet the landscapes and terroirs that characterise it. Among the visits not to be missed, we can invite you to discover the villages of Ansouis, Gordes, Lourmarin, Roussillon and Ménerbes, which are among the most beautiful villages in France.
