The Verdon Natural Park
From the union between the Verdon, the limestone rock and the blue of Provence was born the Verdon. The landscapes here are wild and bucolic : vertiginous gorges or wide cultivated valleys, forests… The Park seduces lovers of nature activities: hiking, Nordic walking, cycling or horseback riding, climbing, kayaking, sports trails in the trees, via ferrata… The picturesque villages bear witness to a very ancient human occupation. During your sightseeing escapades, admire the historic milestones, fountains, wells, oppidums… Agropastoralism is dynamic in the Verdon. Markets and grocery stores will allow you to discover an exceptional terroir: honey and gingerbread, mountain cheeses, lamb meat, vegetables, fruits, farm products, olive products (oil and pasta), citrus fruit liqueurs, lavender essential oil…
