Pierrerue : the Luberon on the nature side
Between the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and the Vaucluse, the attractive Luberon Regional Nature Park is renowned for its diversity of landscapes, between forests and vineyards, medieval villages and isolated farms, hills and valleys. Walking through the Park, you can admire more than 270 different species of vertebrates (birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals…). If you’re lucky, you may catch a glimpse of Bonelli’s eagle, a particularly rare bird of prey. The Luberon can also be discovered by taking the Green Way of the Calavon. The Luberon is also famous for its picturesque perched villages, several of which are waiting for you near Pierrerue.
