Discovering the Luberon
The establishment of the Luberon Regional Nature Park in 1977 was useful in view of the varied landscapes it shelters. Between vineyards, orchards and forests, valleys and mountains, the Park offers many faces. As you walk through the Park, you will be able to observe a rich fauna of 270 species of vertebrates. With a bit of luck, you may, for example, observe the Egyptian vulture, an endangered species. The Luberon can also be explored on a bicycle. From Revest-des-Brousses, you can set off on the paths and roads of the Regional Nature Park, discovering landscapes of great beauty. The Luberon is home to beautiful listed villages, which you can easily discover from Revest-des-Brousses.
Museums and Heritage
The villages of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence have shown, from generation to generation, determination and creativity in order to maintain themselves on their terroir. Various museums are interested in a particular aspect of the culture of Haute-Provence. Visit for example the museum of the Poudrière d’Entrevaux, the ecomuseum of the Forge in Seyne-les-Alpes, the museum of the Middle Verdon in Castellane, the museum of religious art in Digne-les-Bains…
